Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain property and equipment across our hospitality properties. The role ensures daily operations meet guest expectations and property standards.

Responsibilities include performing electrical, heating, and plumbing repairs; handling inspections, preventive maintenance, and work orders; and assisting in preparing vacant rooms and common areas to remain guest-ready.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Must be able to lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds.
• Basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain property equipment, fixtures, or mechanics.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete tasks promptly.
• Inspect cottages, buildings, and common areas.
• Maintain tools and equipment; keep maintenance room tidy.
• Perform electrical, heating, and plumbing repairs; basic HVAC knowledge.
• Maintain maintenance logs and paperwork.
• Prepare vacant rooms/cottages for new guests (carpentry, drywall, painting, etc.).
• Ensure property is clean and guest-ready.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure regular attendance.
