Job summary

Teknor Apex Company in Fountain Inn, South Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operation. You will install, troubleshoot, service and repair electrical and mechanical plant equipment to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, performing PMs, reading schematics, using electrical test gear, and operating forklifts or aerial lifts as needed. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely around machinery.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all safety procedures.
• Mechanically and electrically troubleshoot and repair equipment including pumps, motors, gearboxes, extruders and other production equipment.
• Perform equipment PMs and document work orders using CMMS software.
• Assist in training entry level team members and work with minimal supervision.
• Operate electrical test equipment and test circuits.
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams.

Education

Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience
