Job summary

Teknor Apex seeks a dedicated maintenance technician to keep production and facilities equipment running at peak performance. You will install, service, and repair plant machinery, read mechanical and electrical drawings, and plan day-to-day work with overtime when needed.

Independence and safety are emphasized as you perform preventive maintenance, document work orders, and comply with LOTO procedures in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Electrical or maintenance trade school and/or 4 years of maintenance or electrical field experience preferred.
• Experience using computer software for email and communication (Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Maintain production and facilities equipment throughout the plant.
• Install, service and repair plant equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Plan and organize daily work, including plant shutdowns and overtime when required.
• Ensure safety protocols, including LOTO, are followed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document work orders.
