Job summary

Teknor Apex is hiring for an industrial maintenance role focused on electrical systems, instrumentation calibration, and equipment service. The team operates in a safety‑conscious environment and emphasizes preventive maintenance, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Candidates should have an associate degree or relevant experience, be able to lift 30 pounds, and meet the minimum age requirement. The position offers competitive pay and benefits as part of a collaborative manufacturing team.

• lift 30 pounds overhead at least 4 times in 8 hours

Responsibilities

• Operate and service equipment safely in accordance with safety procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to test circuits and install components.
• Install, service, repair and calibrate instrumentation and electrical devices.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and documentation.
• Maintain good housekeeping in plant and shop.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document work orders.

Understand safety best practices and ensure that all safety procedures are followed.Use electrical test equipment to test electrical circuits and equipment and install conduit, wires, breakers, fuses, starters, motors and other electrical equipment in accordance with the National Electric Code.Install, service, replace and repair instrumentation electronicsand other electrical devices.Perform and documentcalibration of instrumentation, scales and balances.Specify, install and troubleshoot AC andDC motors and motor drives.Understand PLC operations, troubleshooting and ladder logic diagrams.- Perform electrical PMs and complete work order documentation.Wire control cabinets from a drawing or a schematic.Read and interpret documentation such as electrical schematics, manuals and technicalbulletins.Operate maintenance shop equipment.Use electrical tester to safely check power, fuses, breakers and switches.Operate a forklift, scissor lift and jenny boom.Plan and organize individual work.Install service and repair all equipment in a timely manner.Provideand maintain proper hand tools.Maintain good housekeeping throughout plant and shop.Understand and follow all safety procedures.Other duties and related responsibilities as required.Be able to climb and work from Ladder.QUALIFICATIONS:Associate's degree in industrial maintenance or related field needed.
