Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. Marshalls Distribution Center in Atlanta is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the Evening Shift (Mon-Thu, 5am-3:30pm). Responsibilities include electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance to keep DC equipment running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in maintenance of equipment with mechanical and electrical systems; 3+ years conveyor systems; knowledge of codes and schematics; overtime may be required. Benefits include associate discount and more.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical skills – to include use of a multi-meter and ability to change receptacles, switches and lighting ballast.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of building codes, trade standards and general practices within the maintenance field.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe, efficient and proper operation of a variety of Distribution Center equipment and systems.
• Interprets blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings and specifications.
• Oversees and maintains repair, inventory and maintenance logs; estimates costs and prepares requisitions.
