Job summary

Gross Residential is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform day-to-day preventative maintenance, respond to service requests, and prepare units for turnover. You will work on both interior and exterior upkeep of residential properties and collaborate with a team to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and preventative maintenance is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a team and handle on-call/weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs across residential properties.
• Respond to work orders promptly and professionally.
• Prepare vacant units for move-ins and showings.
• Maintain both interior and exterior of buildings and grounds.
• Install and troubleshoot appliances and plumbing fixtures.
• Conduct basic HVAC maintenance and safety checks.

Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician. This position will work on day to day preventative maintenance, maintenance requests and unit turnover along with the general upkeep of residential apartment buildings. We are looking for someone who is a team player and has superior customer service skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• On-call and weekend rotation
• Excellent communication and people skills in order to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Complete a broad range of preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Respond to work orders in a timely manner
• Prepare vacant suites for presentation and move-ins
• Maintain building interior and exterior
• Grounds upkeep
• Appliance installation and troubleshooting
• Installs, maintains and repairs plumbing fixtures
• Basic HVAC maintenance
