Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Durham, NC to join our client’s facilities team. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on building systems, with records kept in our CMMS and adherence to safety standards.

The position operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a contract-to-hire pathway based on performance. Candidates should have 2–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license.

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on building systems and equipment
  • Complete work orders, conduct inspections, maintain facilities, and document activities using CMMS
  • Ensure safety, efficiency, and operational excellence; follow safety policies and procedures
  • Enjoy consistent weekday hours (Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM)

Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Durham, NC
Clearance Requirements: None
Shift: 1st Shift – Mon to Fri (9:00am to 5:00pm)

Position Description:
Join a dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician in Durham, North Carolina, and play a vital role in maintaining our client's facilities. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the chance to utilize your diverse maintenance skills in a fast-paced environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on building systems and equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include completing work orders, conducting inspections, maintaining facilities, and documenting all activities using CMMS software. Top Requirements
