Job summary

Full-time position with a 7:30 am–4:00 pm schedule; prior technical experience preferred. Qualified candidates typically have a Journeyman license and relevant trade training, plus up to five years in a similar role.

Qualifications

• Four years of skilled trade schooling or maintenance vocational schooling.
• Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting.
• Two years of experience as a licensed Journeyman in the specialized trade.

Responsibilities

• Assists in making decisions on normal and complex repairs; reports major problems to supervisor/foreman.
• Constructs, installs, maintains and repairs electrical and mechanical systems and related facilities.
• Maintains and services HVAC, electrical and mechanical building systems and related equipment.
• Supervises and leads a group of workers on a project.
• Maintains logs, completes work orders, tests and inspections.
