Job summary

The Budd Group is seeking a General Maintenance Technician I in High Point, NC. This on-site role supports the Maintenance department with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks, performing routine repairs and adhering to safety practices.

Ideal candidates will handle work orders, use hand and power tools, and contribute to preventive maintenance programs. Evening/weekend shifts may be required; on-site duties prevail in a facility setting.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• One-year certificate or relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in maintenance across trades is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating, repairing, and performing minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC tasks.
• Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
• Receive and complete work orders with recordkeeping.
• Follow safety requirements and use PPE.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
