Job summary

TRG Management Company, LLLP is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Cutler Hammock in Cutler Bay, FL. This role focuses on hands-on maintenance of apartment communities, including HVAC and electrical systems, with on-call emergency responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of property maintenance experience, plus EPA/CFC certification. The position offers a base salary and performance bonus, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years hands-on property maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; walk, bend, climb and balance on ladders for extended periods.
• EPA or CFC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or assists in maintenance of office, painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping, etc.
• Hands-on maintenance of the property including inspection, repair, and general maintenance of units and interior/exterior areas.
• Performs preventative maintenance and records findings in maintenance log.
• Performs on-call emergency service as required.
• Maintains grounds and keeps area free of trash and debris.
• Monitors maintenance of mechanical equipment (water heaters, HVAC, etc.).
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus and replaces damaged wiring and components.
• Replaces faulty electrical components and positions sensing devices.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepares or assists in preparing maintenance of office in regard to painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping, etc. Responsible for the hands-on maintenance of the property, including overall inspection, repair, and general maintenance of apartment units and other interior/exterior areas. Performs various preventative maintenance functions and records findings in maintenance log. Performs on-call emergency service as required. Works along with general maintenance staff in maintaining grounds and keeping them free of trash and debris. Monitors the maintenance and keep-up of all mechanical equipment on the community including, but not limited to, water heaters, HVAC units, etc. Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables. Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices. The ideal candidate will possess: A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred). A minimum of two (2) years hands-on property maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
