PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. in Buckeye, AZ, is seeking Maintenance Mechanics to support peak retail season on a fixed contract with potential to hire. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with pay of $30–$37/hour plus differential.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on conveyors and material handling systems, troubleshooting, and record-keeping. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience, knowledge of electrical motor controls, and ability to work with Dematic

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Dematic conveyor systems highly preferred.
• Able to operate basic manual hand/power tools including drills, grinders, and saws.
• Knowledge of electrical motor control, 30–480V.
• Ability to install/setup VFDs and servo motor controls; troubleshoot PLC inputs.
• Able to weld and use a cutting torch.
• Certified in forklift, powered pallet jacks, scissor lifts and boom lifts.
• Knowledge of painting, minor plumbing and lighting.

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. in partnership with a Fortune 500 company, is looking to hire Maintenance Mechanics to support our clients peak retail season in Buckeye, AZ! These fixed contract roles won't last long!

Schedules Needed

1. 1st shift, 6AM-2:30PM (Working Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat)
2. 2nd shift, 1PM-11PM (Working Sun-Wed)
3. 3rd Shift, 9PM to 7AM (Working Sun-Wed)

• Pay Rate: $30 - $37/hour + shift differential DOE
• Contract to hire

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs (electrical, mechanical and fabrication)
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical material handling equipment, including transportation conveyors, sortation systems, and forklifts
• Analyze, troubleshoot and repair emergency mechanical issues on failed material handling systems.
• Maintain accurate record keeping such as work orders, time sheets, and parts request

Your Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-5 years mechanical maintenance experience (Dematic conveyor systems highly preferred)
• Must have command of basic manual hand/power tools - including drills, grinders, and saws.
• Must have knowledge of electrical motor control, strong electrical/mechanical skills; working with 30 - 480V.
• Must have the ability to install/setup VFD's, as well as servo motor controls, and troubleshoot peripheral control devices to the PLC input.
• Have the ability to weld and utilize a cutting torch.
• Ability to utilize and be certified in the operation of forklifts, powered pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Knowledge of painting/minor plumbing/lighting

Pay Details: $30.00 to $37.00 per hour
