Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial! is hiring a Conveyor Technician II to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyor systems, MHE, automation equipment, and facility infrastructure in a fast-paced distribution center.

You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic systems to maximize uptime. The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, CMMS familiarity, ability to read schematics, and safe operation of forklifts/PITs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience with conveyors or MHE.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics.
• Experience with CMMS/work order systems.
• Ability to operate forklifts and PIT equipment.
• WSI Certification willingness to obtain.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/overnight in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, MHE, and automated systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and restore systems to operation with minimal downtime.
• Utilize CMMS to manage work orders, document repairs, and track maintenance.
• Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries and charging systems.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Support welding, fabrication, carpentry, and facility repair projects as needed.
• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Safely operate PITs, follow safety procedures and LOTO requirements.
• Communicate effectively with operations, leadership, and maintenance team.

Conveyor Technician IIPosition SummaryThe Conveyor Technician II is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyor systems, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), automation equipment, and facility infrastructure within a fast-paced distribution center environment.
