Job summary

Fastenal is hiring for a Full-time Maintenance role at our Atlanta, GA distribution center. You will perform diagnostics and preventative maintenance on conveyors and automated equipment, respond to work orders, and uphold safety and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or over
• Possess a valid driver’s license and meeting driving record requirements
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Demonstrate problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making
• Self directed, customer service oriented
• Willingness to work flexible schedule/extra time
• Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Ability to lift/carry 25–50 lbs, up to 100 lbs
• Able to stand, bend, reach, and climb as needed
• Pass required drug screen in applicable locations

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and preventative maintenance on conveyors, automated equipment, hydraulic and general warehouse equipment
• Respond to work order tickets for Maintenance Department
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Comply with health, safety and sustainability rules
• Participate in activities to meet health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Complete environmental health and safety trainings
