Job summary

Millenniumsoft is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician in Covington, GA to maintain and repair automated conveyor systems within a warehouse environment. The role follows a Mon-Fri 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM schedule with pay at $29 per hour.

You will perform inspections, routine preventive maintenance, and repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems; maintain batteries and equipment inventories; and document all service activities, while ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Experience with automated conveyors systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regular inspections of facilities to identify issues.
• Perform general maintenance including plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Repair building structures, plumbing, electrical, controls, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.

Job Description

• As a side note, during the last request for mains technician submitted I received a lot of auto fleet mechanic applicants.
• Please do not forward auto mechanics for this position.
• This is a warehouse conveyor mechanic position with good detail of what we are looking for in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Regular Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues.
• Maintenance Tasks: Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Repairs: Conduct minor and major repairs on building structures and systems, including plumbing, electrical, controls, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance to avoid potential breakdowns and malfunctions.
• Equipment Management: Install and set up new equipment, machinery, and maintain an inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
• Documentation: Document all installation, repair, and maintenance activities.

Experience

• High School diploma or GED,
• 2-3 years of relevant experience, required.

Knowledge And Skills

• Performs general facility maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping on automated conveyors systems.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds, as required.
• Maintain MHE batteries, as required.
• Uses judgment to plan, perform, troubleshoot, and problem solve in performance of all maintenance tasks.
• May be required to work on off shift and/or weekends and must be available for call in activity.

Preferred Skills

• Basic electrical knowledge of 12 volt, 24 volt AC/DC power
• Basic electrical knowledge of 120V/208V power
• Basic electrical knowledge of 277V/480V power
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Basic knowledge of Work Order process (SAP)
