Job summary

UnitedUnited in Georgia is seeking a Maintenance Repair Associate to maintain and repair the warehouse conveyor system nightly. You will ensure the conveyor is ready for nightly operations and uphold safety, sanitation, and security standards throughout the climate controlled and non-climate controlled areas.

The role requires strong maintenance skills and the ability to communicate with facilities management for complex repairs.

Qualifications

• Five years maintenance technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Conveyor experience preferred; forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair conveyor in a timely fashion.
• Communicate with facilities management about work needing outside expertise.
• Implement preventive maintenance measures and programs.
• Conduct weekly building inspections and perform minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, light welding).
• Inspect and perform daily minor maintenance on equipment.
• Work with tools and supplies to complete projects.
• Maintain corporate safety procedures and access control compliance.
• Drive to other company locations to perform maintenance and repair duties.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Remain on call during loading to address conveyor issues or part replacements.
• Perform basic maintenance and part replacement on PITs.
