Job summary

Duluth Trading Company is seeking a Seasonal Maintenance Technician for its Adairsville, GA distribution center near Atlanta. You will support maintenance operations, performing repair and preventive maintenance on sorters, cameras, conveyors, and related equipment to keep daily workflows running smoothly.

On-site role requiring experience in mechanical/electrical/PLC troubleshooting, inventory control, and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in maintenance and repair.
• Skilled in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and PLC troubleshooting and repair.
• Energetic, ambitious, and hard working with a positive attitude.
• Computer literate; experience with MS Office products.
• Experience in electrical, conveying, automation, and distribution center environments is desired.
• Understanding of industrial control systems is a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with good planning and foresight.
• Experience in high-speed distribution centers is a plus.
• Customer service skills are demonstrated.
• Material handling or packaging background is required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide repair and preventative maintenance for sorting, cameras, hardware, auto baggers, conveyors, balers, and related controls.
• Repair carts, stands, lifts, and material handling equipment; exclude major forklift maintenance.
• Assist with controls support and troubleshooting; identify electrical issues (replace components).
• Complete preventive maintenance schedule.
• Maintain spare parts list and inventory.
• Assist in controls debugging.
• Mentor other maintenance staff.
• Deliver projects on time, under budget, with high quality.
• Improve processes with templates and spreadsheets.
