Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining the facilities of Universal Orlando buildings, completing work orders related to masonry, tile, pavers, and woodwork, handling trouble calls, and executing special projects as directed.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Perform rough carpentry, including framing, sheet goods, wood decking, and dock work, as well as repairing wood and metal stud work.
2. Conduct trim work such as moldings, laminate application, cabinet installation, and window and door fitting.
3. Install and repair exterior finishes like Dry-Vit, EIFIS, and Stucco.
4. Maintain and repair walkways and roadways within the parks.
5. Inspect and maintain theater seating, furniture, and restroom partitions.
6. Install and repair interior wall and floor tiles and coverings.
7. Repair and install commercial hardware, including door closures, panic hardware, and locks.
8. Follow Environmental, Health & Safety policies and participate actively in related activities.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Scope of Work:

Maintains facilities and completes work orders involving masonry, tile, pavers, and woodwork, handling daily trouble calls and special projects as directed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience in carpentry and construction, including framing, drywall, trim, masonry, and tile.
• Preferred: 3-5 years of commercial roofing experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
