Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, Inc. seeks a maintenance specialist to perform basic to intermediate tasks on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure with minimal supervision.

You will conduct scheduled and unplanned maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and support general facility operations to keep production safe and efficient. Key duties include servicing CNC and manual tooling, forklifts, robots, HVAC, lighting, and pneumatic systems, plus documenting parts and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical problems on manufacturing equipment.
• Must read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Basic working knowledge of programmable ladder logic (PLC).
• Electrician skills including wiring practices and sensors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Maintain and repair CNC and manual machine tools, forklifts, AGVs, paint systems, robots, welders, and compressed air systems.
• Service facility systems including HVAC, lighting, sprinkler systems, plumbing, and office fixtures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rebuild mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Record materials used and requisition parts using electronic devices (iPad, iPhone, laptops).
• Assist with relocating and organizing production and office spaces.
• Support special projects directed by Maintenance or Plant Leadership.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with 6S standards.
