Job summary
LB&B Associates, Inc. is seeking a qualified General Maintenance Worker to support mechanical operations and maintenance services at Mecklenburg County Courts in Charlotte, NC.
The role offers hourly pay and requires a minimum of four years in maintenance across trades. The ideal candidate will perform tasks across painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work, with HVAC experience highly desired.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years' experience performing general maintenance and repair of equipment across trades (painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical).
- Experience in replacing electrical components, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
- HVAC repair/maintenance experience highly desired.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
Responsibilities
- Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
- Patch minor holes with plaster/compound in walls/ceilings.
- Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
- Paint floors, steps, and sidewalks.
- Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
- Hang doors and install locks.
- Replace broken window panes; perform general maintenance on equipment.
- Maintenance of commercial building systems including PMs and routine service calls.
