Job summary

Colliers International in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician who can coordinate and execute building repairs and preventative maintenance with minimal supervision.

You will maintain logs for HVAC systems, meters, and tenant service requests while balancing multiple priorities. The role requires hands-on skills in painting, drywall repair and light carpentry, plus a valid driver’s license and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building or property maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with painting, drywall repair and light carpentry.
• Ability to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience using work order management and preventive maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete building repairs and system maintenance in a timely manner.
• Oversee preventative maintenance tasks and prioritize multiple requests.
• Maintain daily operating logs for HVAC, meters, equipment readings, and tenant requests.
• Coordinate approvals with contractors, tenants, and management for work orders.
