Job summary

LB&B Associates, Inc. provides services to government, Fortune 500, and other firms nationwide. We seek a qualified General Maintenance Worker to support mechanical operations at Mecklenburg County Courts in Charlotte, NC.

The base pay is hourly, with benefits including life and disability insurance and a 401(k) plan. Minimum 4 years' maintenance experience required; duties include electrical work, carpentry, painting, plumbing, masonry, and HVAC maintenance.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years' experience in general maintenance and equipment repair.
Experience in painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.
HVAC repair experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
Using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
Painting floors, steps, and sidewalks.
Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles.
Hanging doors and installing locks.
Replacing broken window panes and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Experience in commercial HVAC repair and maintenance of mechanical building systems including PM's, routine service calls and overall facility maintenance.
