Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services in Ballwin, MO, seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform non-routine and semiskilled tasks across buildings and grounds. You will complete CMMS work orders, inspect and service equipment, and assist with safety drills and life safety tasks.

Qualifications include basic maintenance knowledge, ability to read and write simple notes, and a valid driver's license. On-call duties may apply; benefits include PTO and health coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Trade school preferable.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance operations, hand and power tools and mechanical ability.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small groups.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders via CMMS to repair or install equipment or assist residents with maintenance needs.
• Conducts equipment maintenance, testing, lubrication, and cleaning; reports malfunctions.
• Assists in maintaining appearance of buildings and grounds, including snow removal and salting.
• Uses hand and power tools following safety procedures.
• May conduct Life Safety inspections and drills (fire, electrical, sprinkler, etc.).
• Follows infection control procedures and wears protective equipment when handling waste/chemicals.
• Adheres to safety procedures and EverTrue policies; reports hazards or incidents to supervisor.
• May remain on-call and perform on-call duties as scheduled.
