Job summary

Wendover Management, LLC in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our multifamily communities safe, comfortable, and well maintained. You’ll respond to service calls, perform repairs, prep units for new residents, and help maintain common areas with pride and efficiency.

You’ll troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry tasks, and document work orders using property management software. A high school diploma and customer‑oriented mindset are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous property maintenance experience a plus.
• Know-how in light carpentry, drywall repair, texture and painting.
• Comfort troubleshooting HVAC, electrical and mechanical issues (certification a plus or willingness to obtain).
• Proactive safety mindset and attention to presentation.
• Customer service focus with team ethos.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, and shared spaces.
• Ensure trash is removed regularly from offices, perimeters, and trash chutes/compactors.
• Prepare units for new residents by supporting make-ready efforts including trash removal and minor repairs.
• Clean and prepare available apartments and models to our standard of excellence.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues.
• Assist with maintenance needs across the community and escalate larger issues as needed.
• Maintain curb appeal through daily inspections and proactive upkeep.
• Support emergency response efforts including hazardous weather or events.
• Keep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and stocked.
• Collaborate with office staff on projects and resident needs.
