Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Durham, NC seeks aMaintenance Technician to improve systems and equipment reliability on assigned processes, reduce downtime, and support operation. Reports to Senior Project Manager – OFP.

Qualifications include an Associate's Degree in a relevant field, at least one year of experience, and ability to interpret mechanical/electrical specs. SAP experience and willingness to rotate shifts are preferred. Join a company with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets technical documentation, SOPs, PMs and maintenance plans.
• Proficient with basic electrical and mechanical drawings and data sheets.
• Familiar with SAP-based maintenance recording and equipment tracking.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental requirements in performance of duties.
• Follow SOPs in performance of duties.
• Support maintenance procedures, maintenance plans and spare parts lists for assigned processes.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance in a timely manner.
• Interpret mechanical and electrical specifications, drawings, and data sheets.
• Work rotating shifts, night shifts, extended shifts and/or weekends.
• Document maintenance activities in SAP.
• Collaborate with process owners to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Contribute to development of the maintenance team and share expertise.
