Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to improve system and equipment reliability on assigned processes and support operations. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, interpret mechanical and electrical specifications, and document activities in SAP while collaborating with process owners to boost performance.

The role requires 1-5 years of experience and an Associate's Degree or equivalent training; occasional night and extended shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent military/industry training including mechanical, electrical & control systems
• 1-5 years of relevant work experience required
• Experience with SAP preferred
• Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams & other technical documents

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental requirements in performance of duties
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment
• Develop and establish maintenance procedures and spare parts lists
• Interpret mechanical and electrical specifications and drawings
• Work rotating shifts, including nights and extended hours
• Document maintenance activities in SAP
• Collaborate with process owners to improve performance and reliability
