Madison Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our apartment communities. You will perform day-to-day maintenance, including painting, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, and carpentry, ensuring units are safe and move-in ready.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily or similar settings.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical systems knowledge.
• Certifications (HVAC, EPA, CPO) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to residents and teammates.
• Handle day-to-day maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Respond to service requests quickly and professionally.
• Ensure apartments are safe, functional, and move-in ready.
• Coordinate with vendors on specialized projects (landscaping, asphalt repairs).
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas safe and organized.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year of maintenance experience (multifamily preferred)
• Certifications (HVAC, EPA, CPO) are a plus
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
