Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician B in Oklahoma City to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, air brakes, and HVAC systems.

You will work under supervision on a state-of-the-art fleet, performing line welding, on-site service, and on-road support while pursuing ongoing training in new technologies. A stable shift and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• 3-5 years of technician experience or recent graduation from automotive college/technical school.
• ASE Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• Commercial Driver’s License is a plus but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of vehicle components and systems and performs preventive/repair maintenance on-site and on the road.
• Chassis components and refuse bodies repair including hydraulic and electrical systems; air/hydraulic braking systems."
• Light engine repair and maintenance; suspension, drivetrain and steering systems; HVAC.
• Welding and fabrication; provide road service when necessary; identify malfunctions using electronic tools.
