Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in mechanical maintenance preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a mechanical maintenance technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail; able to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or emergency callouts.
• Capable of managing job-related stress and maintaining productive workplace interactions.
• Experience in CMMS and in identifying/reparing gears, transmissions, gearboxes is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Install, assemble, and dismantle machinery as needed.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure safety compliance.
• Replace or repair defective components such as bearings, gears, motors, pumps.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production staff to improve efficiency.

MTEB - MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN B

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

We are seeking a skilledMechanical Maintenance Technicianto join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical systems and reducing downtime in a fast-paced industrial setting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in mechanical maintenance preferred.
• 5 or more years of experience as a mechanical maintenance technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
