Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to operate safely and keep machinery running at optimal levels. The role requires basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, good communication, and flexible hours.

You will support other technicians, diagnose simple mechanical issues, and maintain a clean, safe work area while adhering to SOPs and safety regulations. Extreme heat exposure may be part of the work environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and experience.
• Basic electrical knowledge and experience.
• Overtime availability may be required.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work non-standard hours as needed.
• Ability to handle job-related stress and maintain productive interactions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist other technicians as needed.
• Troubleshoot simple mechanical problems and perform repairs (bearings, belts, pulleys, chains, sprockets, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned areas.
• Follow SOPs, cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures.

• Basic electrical knowledge and experience.
• Available to work overtime.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Compliance with company policies
• Assist other technicians
• Troubleshoot simple mechanical problems and make repairs. (Bearings, belts, pulleys, chains, sprockets, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas
• Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Stooping/Bending
• Kneeling
• Standing for long periods of time
• Able to work from elevated heights over 8 feet
