ManpowerGroup’s client in North Haven, CT is seeking a Mech & Robotics Tech to join the Operations Maintenance team. You will support automated systems, repair material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and help ensure safe, reliable operation across the facility.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to work flexible shifts (including nights and weekends), and at least 1 year of PC experience (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• At least 1 year of experience with PC competency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Physical ability to move up to 49 lbs, stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks during long shifts.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the facility.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and standards.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with accurate documentation to ensure equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
