Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client in Windsor, CT is seeking a Mech & Robotics Tech to join the Operations Maintenance team, supporting automated systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of PC experience (Word, Excel, Outlook), and be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays with a strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, installing and servicing automated packaging

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• At least 1 year of experience with PC (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Physical ability to lift up to 49 lbs, stand, walk, and perform manual tasks during long shifts.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

What's the Job?

• Support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the facility.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and standards.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with accurate documentation to ensure equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.

• At least 1 year of experience with PC competency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
