Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Baltimore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair facility equipment, ensuring manufacturing schedules run smoothly. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and support safety and process improvements.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and experience in automated manufacturing; an associates degree in a technical field is a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with at least one year of related experience.
Experience in highly automated manufacturing and lean/continuous flow operations.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues using electrical schematics, multimeters, and manuals.
Ability to coordinate remotely with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

Performs preventative maintenance on facility equipment and troubleshoots to maintain schedules.
Completes general facility maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical or PLC.
Disassembles, cleans, and repairs equipment mechanically and electrically.
Performs minor electronic repair, calibration, and alignment of equipment.
Enters and analyzes maintenance data and tracks activities in Megamations.
Supports safety requirements and contributes to process improvements.
