Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair facility equipment across our manufacturing environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and support safety and process improvement initiatives.

The role requires experience in automated manufacturing, the ability to work with vendors remotely, and lifting up to 100 lbs. A technical associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year related experience.
• Experience in highly automated manufacturing/lean manufacturing environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment with electrical schematics, multimeters, and manuals.
• Ability to coordinate remotely with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• Basic PC knowledge and math skills.
• Know and follow safety procedures including Lock-Out/Tag-Out.
• Physical ability to lift 50–100 lbs and perform required walking/standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment and troubleshoot to meet production schedules.
• Handle general facility maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or PLC tasks.
• Disassemble, clean, and repair equipment mechanically and electrically.
• Carry out minor electronic repair, calibration, and equipment setup.
• Enter and analyze maintenance data and track activities in the system.
• Assist maintenance team with training and process improvements.
