Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Ohio Groveport is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility equipment across manufacturing operations. You will handle general facility maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems to support production schedules.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED plus related experience; preferred an Associate degree in a technical field.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and one year related experience.
Experience in highly automated manufacturing environments.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues using electrical schematics and instruments.
Ability to coordinate remotely with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
Basic PC literacy and mathematical skills.
Adherence to Lock-Out/Tag-Out safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Performs preventative maintenance on facility equipment and troubleshoots to meet production schedules.
Conducts general facility maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and PLC tasks.
Disassembles, cleans, and repairs equipment both mechanically and electrically.
Performs minor electronic repair, calibration, and alignment; ensures proper setup and calibration.
Enters and analyzes maintenance data; tracks PM and work orders in Megamations.
Assists team lead in training manufacturing and maintenance staff.
Supports safety requirements and communicates safety feedback.
Follows company policies and undertakes additional duties as needed.
