Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician in our Baltimore area facility. You will maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility equipment, supporting manufacturing schedules and line availability.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, general facility work (HVAC, plumbing, electrical or mechanical), data entry, and collaborating with vendors. Strong safety awareness and ability to lift heavy loads are required; Associates degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; one year related experience.
• Experience in highly automated manufacturing; lean manufacturing/continuous flow operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using electrical schematics and testing tools.
• Ability to work remotely with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• Basic PC knowledge and math skills.
• Follow safety procedures including Lock-Out/Tag-Out.
• Physical ability to lift 50–100 lbs and stand/walk frequently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment as scheduled.
• Carry out general facility maintenance (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical or PLC).
• Disassemble, clean, and repair equipment mechanically and electrically.
• Perform minor electronic repair, calibration, and alignment.
• Enter and analyze maintenance data.
• Track maintenance activities and parts in system.
