Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility equipment across manufacturing operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, wiring, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical tasks, analyze maintenance data, and support safety and process improvements. The role requires a high school diploma and hands-on experience in automated manufacturing, with ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year related experience.
• Experience in highly automated manufacturing and lean operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot using electrical schematics and multimeters.
• Capability to collaborate remotely with vendors and contractors.
• Basic PC literacy and math skills.
• Must follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out safety procedures.
• Physically capable of lifting 50–100 lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on facility equipment and repairs as needed.
• Handles general facility maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical or PLC tasks.
• Disassembles, cleans and repairs equipment mechanically and electrically.
• Performs minor electronic repair, calibration and alignment of equipment.
• Enters and analyzes maintenance data and tracks activities.
• Supports training of manufacturing and maintenance associates.
