Job summary

PLK Communities is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician who can float between two communities, Lakeside Landing and Elevation 800. You will perform property maintenance, prepare apartments, and handle common repair tasks to keep the grounds and units in top condition.

You may be on-call for after-hours emergencies and will use basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC skills. Valid driver's license required with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Maintenance or handyman experience required.
• Apartment/multi-family maintenance experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation essential.
• Respond to afterhours emergency calls as part of on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform property maintenance needs across two communities.
• Prepare apartments for new residents.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Basic carpentry tasks.
• Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC service and repair (will train).
• Maintenance of grounds and common areas.
• Assist with trash removal.

Currently, we are in search of a skilled full-time Maintenance Technician who can float between two communities, Lakeside Landing and Elevation 800.

Responsibilities And Duties

The Maintenance Technician is to assist in maintaining the physical integrity of the community for the benefit of all residents, visitors, and staff:

• Perform any and all property maintenance needs
• Prepare apartments for new residents
• Completes work orders
• Basic Carpentry
• Plumbing
• Electrical Systems
• Mechanical Systems
• Small Appliance Repair
• Maintenance of the property grounds and common areas
• HVAC service and repair (willing to train)
• Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash
