Job summary

KALESTA HEALTHCARE GROUP in Vallejo, CA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a part-time role to assist the Maintenance Director in keeping the community in good repair, interior and exterior surfaces, fixtures and mechanical systems.

The technician will perform routine maintenance on plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, document repairs in the Maintenance Log, respond to emergencies, and help maintain a safe, clean environment in compliance with MSDS

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience in at least one of the following fields: General maintenance (institution or building), Carpentry or community construction, Plumbing and/or electrical, Appliance maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior fixtures in good repair and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and respond to emergencies as directed.
• Check and document maintenance logs and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Assist with monthly fire drills, safety and MSDS documentation.
