Job summary

Guardian Real Estate Services is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician for our Vancouver, WA communities (13 West & 15 West). You will support the Community Manager by ensuring site safety, completing maintenance tasks, and maintaining curb appeal.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to communicate in English. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• At least one year of work experience in property maintenance and repairs, construction or related experience preferred.
• Possess and transport own tools and materials needed for job.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner; both verbally and in writing.
• Must own or have access to properly insured vehicle for business transportation; valid driver's license and insurance.
• If the property has a pool, CPO certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Represent Guardian in a positive and professional manner at all times.
• Support Community Manager’s efforts to assure obligations are met.
• Maintain the property in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Walk property grounds daily to maintain curb appeal.
• Coordinate with vendors to complete work orders and turnovers timely.
• Keep records of space conditions including roof, HVAC, utilities.
• Inspect property and coordinate work schedules of vendors.
• Be on call for emergencies after hours and weekends on a rotation.
• Communicate with supervisor about issues or resident questions.
• Perform maintenance or coordinate maintenance of pools, spas, if applicable.
• Follow confidentiality guidelines for all information.
• Accurately record time worked and adhere to timekeeping guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
