Job summary

Guardian Real Estate Services LLC seeks a Maintenance Assistant for Sunpointe in Vancouver, WA. This entry-level role supports cleaning and minor property maintenance to uphold curb appeal and overall property quality. You will handle work orders, assist with turnovers, and ensure OSHA and Guardian policies are followed.

Training is provided for the right candidate. The position offers a 40-hour work week (Mon-Fri) with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within a leading Northwest

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.
• Knowledge of building and grounds maintenance such as changing lightbulbs and raking.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English.
• Able to complete training requirements and attend sessions as needed.
• Basic computer literacy and use of standard computer/web tools.

Responsibilities

• Represent Guardian in a positive and professional manner.
• Walk property grounds daily and maintain curb appeal.
• Clean and maintain common areas and entryways.
• Respond to service requests and complete work orders.
• Assist with apartment turnovers in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep model units and offices neat and clean.
• May be on call for emergencies and use a property cell phone.
• Record time worked and follow timekeeping guidelines.
• Collaborate with departments to support property management goals.
• Seek improvements to processes to better meet resident needs.
