Job summary

Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician for Hayden House in Springfield, Ohio. You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and turnover work to keep apartment homes in top condition and residents satisfied.

You will work closely with the property management team, respond to service requests, and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming community while supporting our ESOP-owned culture and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read and speak English and follow oral and written directions.
• Previous maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive interactions with residents and the public to enhance the community image and ensure superior resident retention.
• Perform general and emergency maintenance of apartments and common areas.
• Create and maintain a customer-centered service culture by demonstrating proactive hospitality.
• Maintain confidentiality related to prospect or resident information.
• Maintain an attractive community appearance and overall positive curb appeal.
• Responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance of the property, including sanitizing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
• Perform turnover of apartments, including trash out, cleaning, painting, carpet shampooing and other repairs as necessary.
• Utilize company databases and software programs.
• Identify maintenance problems and take appropriate actions.
• Document routine inspections for defects and safety concerns.
• Must be available and on-call for emergencies after hours, weekends, holidays.
• Maintain professional appearance with maintenance uniform.
• Be dependable and report to work on schedule.
• Use PPE for safety as required.
• Assist with third-party inspections and OSHA10 training.
