Associated Contracting Resources seeks a versatile Maintenance Technician to maintain HOA properties across the valley, handling plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall and related repairs.

You will troubleshoot issues, complete service requests, and coordinate with field teams. A reliable vehicle and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions are essential; after-hours calls may be required.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or better.
  • 2 years' maintenance experience, HOA or property mgmt preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak English for interaction with customers.
  • Must have own vehicle with valid driver's license.
  • Able to work outdoors and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to work orders using the field system.
  • Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, welding, and more.
  • Troubleshoot and complete service requests.
  • Maintain grounds, trash cleanup, landscaping.
  • Be available for after-hours calls.
  • Operate and store maintenance equipment safely.
  • Drive to multiple sites in a reliable pickup truck or van.

Description

Join Associated Contracting Resources as a versatile Maintenance Technician responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of buildings, systems, and common areas across multiple residential HOA communities throughout the valley. This hands-on role includes plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, welding, and general repairs. You’ll troubleshoot issues, complete service requests efficiently, and ensure properties are well-maintained with strong attention to detail. A reliable vehicle and readiness for on-the-go work are essential.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Utilize on-line system to retrieve work orders to perform in field.
  • Perform duties related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, dry wall, pressure washing, welding, block work and any other maintenance needs related to the designated properties.
  • Troubleshoot maintenance problems to identify issues and necessary repairs.
  • Complete grounds work, which may include trash clean up, sweeping, landscaping, pressure washing, waste removal, etc.
  • Complete assigned maintenance service requests.
  • May need to be available for after-hours calls and emergencies.
  • Properly operate, maintain and store all maintenance equipment.
  • Perform other related duties as directed.
  • Needs to have reliable pickup truck or van for daily driving to various sites.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and competency in performing specialized and skilled maintenance in various trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool equipment and chemicals, painting, dry wall, welding, roofing, concrete/masonry, equipment operation and any other maintenance skills needs applicable.
  • Possess skill and ability to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
  • Consistently meet ACR’s standards of service interacting with customers and staff in a professional, courteous and friendly manner.
  • Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Complete tasks from start to finish in a quality manner, on time, within budget and while meeting applicable codes.
  • Ability to gather information, analyze it, seek input and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Work at a faster-than-average pace.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Works indoors and outdoors.
  • Requires physical ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, squat and bend.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, in crowded areas and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work on uneven surfaces, in hot, cold and wet conditions, climb and stand on ladders and scaffolding at heights of up to 50 feet.
  • Able to handle various manual and power tools.
  • May work independently or as part of a team.

2 years:Experience working in a maintenance role, preferably within an HOA or Property Management environment. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to interact with customers and staff. Must be able to work outdoors, lift, squat, climb and perform a wide variety of physical tasks. Requires use of personal vehicle. Valid Driver’s License.
