Job summary

AVE by Korman Communities seeks a maintenance technician to keep our luxury apartment communities in top condition. The role involves a wide range of tasks from painting and HVAC repairs to electrical and appliance maintenance, with an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

We offer a $23+/hour base with potential bonuses, and a supportive team in a growing, hospitality-driven brand. Full-time hours Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with on-call rotation are included.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance, construction, or related work.
• HVAC certification is a plus and sponsorship may be provided.
• Communicates maintenance issues daily with the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Follow AVE SOPs and procedures.
• Perform maintenance tasks: painting, caulking, HVAC, electrical, appliances.
• Complete suite make-readies using AVE checklist promptly.
• Address resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Assist with shop organization, inventory, and garbage removal.
• On-call rotation to handle after-hours service requests and emergencies.
• Snow removal and handling community emergencies as needed.
