Job summary

AVE by Korman Communities is seeking capable Maintenance Technicians in Philadelphia to support luxury apartment communities nationwide. You will follow AVE processes, perform painting, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other repairs, and complete make-readies per the technician checklist.

Two to three years of maintenance experience is expected; HVAC certification is a plus and sponsorship is available. On-call rotations and team collaboration are required to ensure quick service and guest

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to three years of maintenance, construction, or related experience.
• HVAC certified is a plus (we will sponsor certification if not already certified).
• Communicates all necessary maintenance related issues to the Maintenance Manager on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Follow AVE standard operating processes and procedures.
• Perform various maintenance functions including painting, caulking, HVAC repairs, lock repairs, window/door repairs, electrical repairs, appliance repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Complete suite make-readies using AVE Maintenance Technician checklist, including painting, carpet cleaning, furniture placement, and cord management.
• Service residents' requests within 24 hours.
• Assist with organization and cleanliness of maintenance shop; remove garbage daily.
• Maintain inventory by informing Maintenance Manager when supplies are needed.
• Trash removal and keeping garbage enclosures clean.
• Support after-hours on-call rotation to cover service requests outside normal hours.
• Handle community emergencies (flood, fire, power loss) and snow removal as needed.
