Job summary

AVE by Korman Communities in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair our luxury apartment communities. This hands-on role requires a strong maintenance background, reliability, and the ability to respond to service requests promptly.

You’ll follow AVE procedures, perform tasks from painting and HVAC to electrical and carpentry, and participate in on-call rotations. The role offers competitive hourly pay, a sign-on bonus, and a path toward long-term career

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to three years of maintenance, construction, or related experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs).
• HVAC certification is a plus; sponsor possible if not certified.
• Communicates maintenance issues to the Maintenance Manager daily.

Responsibilities

• Follow AVE standard operating processes and procedures.
• Perform maintenance functions including painting, caulking, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs and more.
• Complete suite make-readies using the AVE checklist and ensure timely completion.
• Respond to service requests within 24 hours.
• Assist with organization and cleanliness of maintenance shop; manage garbage daily.
• Notify Maintenance Manager when supplies are needed and handle inventory.
