Clasen Quality Chocolate (CQC) in Sparks, NV is seeking a Maintenance Technician to design, maintain and repair equipment, buildings and grounds at our state-of-the-art facility. The role covers mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC/HMI systems, with oversight of capital projects and preventive maintenance.

Shifts are 12 hours, Wed-Fri and every other Sat, offering a generous OT structure and night differential.

Qualifications

• Two-year maintenance-related degree or equivalent experience.
• HS diploma with 5 years related experience may be considered.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with PLC/HMI and process controls is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs manufacturing equipment and performs preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic fluid power systems and distribution components.
• Design, install, troubleshoot and repair pneumatic distribution and point-of-use systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, relays, sensors and electrical faults.
• Install, program and repair PLCs, HMIs and VFDs on automated equipment.
• Draft, modify and reverse engineer AutoCAD drawings as needed.
• Lead small to medium capital projects identified for improvement.
• Design/simple electrical distribution systems and enclosures per NEC.
• Travel to CQC facilities for training, parts store and service calls.
