Job summary

Clorox is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Reno, NV to maintain and repair equipment, ensure safety, and support facilities systems. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, adherence to GMP and safety standards, and the ability to work a 6:00 PM–6:00 AM shift with a $1.50 shift differential. Prior PLC/VFD exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Exposure to PLC and VFD programming/troubleshooting is a plus.
• Basic welding, machining, and hand tool experience.
• Must comply with GMP and safety standards.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and other types of equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubricating, and calibrating machinery.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid unexpected breakdowns.
• Oversee the upkeep of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting.
• Coordinate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or upgrades.
• Maintain and update safety documentation and equipment logs.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment failures or malfunctions in a timely manner.
• Maintain records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts used.
