Qualifications

• High School diploma and technical certificate preferred.
• Minimum of three years of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and overall machine troubleshooting experience.
• Must communicate effectively with all departments and external vendors/contractors.
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance procedures and documentation.
• Team player with a sense of urgency and limited direction.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment within the foundry.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise and complete long-term projects.
• Maintain and repair electrical infrastructure using drawings and blueprints.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Respond to requests from Facilities Manager/ Maintenance Supervisor and set priorities to maximize equipment runtime.
• Troubleshoot and ensure machine uptime on overhead cranes, sand mixers, conveyors, and other foundry equipment.

What are the hours and pay?

• 3rd Shift -10:00 PM – 6:30AM -Monday – Thursday and 8:00PM - 4:30AM on Sunday (plus overtime as needed)
• Regular Pay $26.00 - $35.00+/ hour- pay is based on experience.
• $2.00/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift!

What is the job?

• You will be completing preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment within the Foundry.
• You will troubleshoot problems as they arise throughout the workday and complete long-term projects throughout the organization.
• You will maintain and repair existing electrical infrastructure using drawings and blueprints.
• You will participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Operate in response to requests from the Facilities Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor and set priorities as required to maximize equipment runtime.
• In this position, you will troubleshoot and ensure machine uptime on overhead cranes, sand mixers, conveyors and other foundry equipment.
