Job summary

CA Lawton in De Pere WI is looking for General Maintenance Technicians for our foundry. You will perform preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment, troubleshoot daily issues, and repair electrical infrastructure using drawings and blueprints.

You will participate in continuous improvement activities, operate under the direction of the Facilities Manager, and help maximize equipment uptime across overhead cranes, sand mixers, conveyors, and other foundry equipment.

Qualifications

• Technical certificate/degree in Electromechanical or Industrial Maintenance with a minimum of 2 years of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC and overall machine troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to work well and communicate with all functional departments and outside vendors/contractors.
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance procedures and associated documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of foundry equipment.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise and complete long-term improvement projects.
• Maintain and repair electrical infrastructure using drawings and blueprints.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Respond to requests from the Facilities Manager and Maintenance Supervisor and set priorities to maximize equipment runtime.
• Troubleshoot and ensure machine uptime on overhead cranes, sand mixers, conveyors, and other foundry equipment.

What are the hours and pay?

• Looking for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift
• Regular Pay $30.00-$40.00/HR
• Pay is based on experience
• $2.00/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

What is the job?

• You will be completing preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment within the Foundry.
• You will troubleshoot problems as they arise throughout the workday and complete long-term projects throughout the organization.
• You will maintain and repair existing electrical infrastructure using drawings and blueprints.
• You will participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Operate in response to requests from the Facilities Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor and set priorities as required to maximize equipment runtime.
