Job summary
CA Lawton in Minster, Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to help keep our foundry equipment running at peak performance.
We offer a competitive wage of $26.00-$35.00+ per hour, plus a $2.00/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Candidates should have a minimum of three years’ mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and general troubleshooting experience and be able to read blueprints. On-the-job training and a clear path for growth are provided.
Qualifications
- Three years of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with plant equipment and preventative maintenance processes.
- Ability to read drawings and blueprints to diagnose issues quickly.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of foundry equipment.
- Troubleshoot problems as they occur and complete long-term projects.
- Maintain and repair electrical infrastructure using drawings and blueprints.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Respond to requests from Facilities Manager and set priorities to maximize runtime.
- Troubleshoot and ensure machine uptime on overhead cranes, sand mixers, conveyors, and other equipment.
